Attention Teachers! Make this calm down caddy for your classroom. This project is intended for an adult teacher to make for his/her classroom. There are tools needed to make the project that should be kept out of the reach of children. Fill a bin with sensory and self-expression items and keep on-hand to help children identify their emotions in a safe and positive way.
Step 1 |
Cut out three circles 3" [7.6 cm] in diameter from yellow, red or orange adhesive foam to make emojis. |
Step 2 |
Use a marker to draw the faces/emotions you wish to use on the circles. |
Step 3 |
Adhere the circles to the front of the bin. |
Step 4 |
Fill the bin with stuffed animals, snap-together beads, drawing paper, markers and sensory items. |
