The gold accents really add a lot of elegance to this dark frame. The color is an abstract mixture of dark brown (similar to walnut) with a hint of black mixed in. I didn't need the 8x10 matting, and the frame still looked great.

The frame is high quality, has hooks on both sides to safely attach it to the wall. It’s quite heavy. Take care with the white paper border when putting your art or photo in. It’s a big classy frame!
