bright shell bracelet stack
Step 1 |
Cut 10" of stretch cord for each stretch bracelet you want to make. |
Step 2 |
Add a bead bug to one end of a stretch cord. |
Step 3 |
Add your beads as desired. |
Step 4 |
Tie the ends together in an overhand knot and then a surgeon’s knot, Add a dab of glue to the knot. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Tuck the ends into about three adjacent beads and trim excess cord. |
Step 6 |
Repeat Steps 2-5 for each stretch bracelet in your stack. |
Step 7 |
For the shell bracelet, cut a 48" piece of bright cording. |
Step 8 |
Fold the cording in half a tie an overhand knot about 1" from the fold. Thread one side of the cording onto a collapsible needle and thread through the holes at the bottom of a Puka shell. Push the shell up against the knot and then run the other side of the cording across the top of the shell. Tie an overhand knot with both cording sides at the bottom of the shell. |
Step 9 |
Repeat Step 8 with shells across the bracelet for about 7" or until the desired length is achieved for your wrist. Thread a bead from the craft bead mix onto each end of the cording, about 2" below the last knot at the bottom of the last shell and tie a knot.\ TIP: To wear, thread the;last beads added through the loop at the other end.
