Sometimes worth it with a lot of work
Even when placed on flat surface these have a tendency to leak. If you work quickly and keep an eye on them you can get a nice finished project but you will lose a good amount of resin

Very nice
Very nice but don't use UV resin unless you do it in layers or it will not fully cure. Otherwise epoxy resin will work just fine. Love these, will be getting more.

Use as intended
I tried using regular resin for this, and because the metal pieces weren't perfectly flat it leaked out underneath. Please don't be like me, use the UV stuff it's intended for.
