Amazing For DIY Use
I painted the outside, which was honestly really simple to do, and used it as a diy scrapbook gor my anniversary. It's also great for journaling and stuff. I highly suggest it for the price.

Pretty Good for Price
I've been using mine for about three months now and it's been holding up pretty well to the constant use compared to other journals at this price. While I'm not using this for bullet journaling, the dots are dark enough for you to see but not distracting or too heavy. It's been good for taping things in and even a very light (and I repeat, light) layer watercolor. While there is some bleed through and ghosting with certain markers (sharpies for example), it isn't a major problem for me since I just avoided using markers. Overall, good for the price. :)

Simple but Helpful
Bought this as a bullet journal to plan out my year and month- I’ve never “bullet-journaled” before and figured I’d try it out with something simple, plenty of pages and I like the organizer at the start of the journal

Good for the price
The book is great for the price. Definitely ghosting due to the thin paper. Do wish the book would lay flat. Can definitely feel the difference between this and a moleskine.

Great!
This journal is amazing for 5 dollars! The pages seem thin when you flip through them but the pages withstand markers and pens pretty well. One downside is that I wish the pages were thicker and were numbered but that depends on how important those are for you. To me those would not be make or break factors.

Pages too thin
The pages in this journal are too thin that even the most basic of markers, from Crayola, bleed through the pages. I didn’t find it to be worth the money. Just spend the extra money to get a journal with thicker pages so nothing bleeds through.

Great for the price
The pages are not as thick as a premium notebook, but for this price it's pretty great and was a good first bullet journal for me. I didn't want to invest a lot before i was sure it was a habit I would keep up.
Do a pen test at the back to see what will/will not bleed or ghost. The pens I found to work best but still provide a nice writing experience were:
- Sakura Microns. Some mild ghosting but not enough to be distracting or cause you to skip pages.
- Pilot .5 Hi-tech C Coleto - has multiple color options in one - it's great! - and works wonderfully on this paper.
- Some of the lighter/pastel Tombow brushpens also work well, but darker pigments or filling-in will cause bleeding.

Fantastic beginner journal!
The paper is a bit thin which leads to some ghosting, but honestly for the price these journals are exceptional.

Great buy
I love these dot journals. They are inexpensive. Page quality is acceptable. Binding holds up to use well. Elastic closure doesn’t wear out even with daily use.

Perfect for a first time bullet journal!
I wanted to get into bullet journaling, but tend to flit from hobby to hobby, and didn't want to spend $20 on the recommended brand of notebook just in case it was another short-lived project. So, this notebook looked perfect to start with. And thus far I'm very happy with it! At $5 I rather expected it to fall apart pretty quickly, but it's holding up well! The pages aren't the thickest, and I know some people don't like ghosting/bleed-through, but I'm primarily using a ball point pen and it doesn't bother me much. I'd definitely recommend it.

Love it!
I started looking for a journal to use so I could try bullet journaling, about this time last year. I've been using my Artist's Loft journal all year, and I love it. It fits easily in my purse, but it isn't too small. I know some people have said the pages are too thin. The pages are definitely much thicker than composition paper, and using a G-2 gel pen, I get very little ghosting. If I do get ghosting, once I've written on the other side of the page, I don't notice it, so I don't care. I'm pretty minimalist in my journaling. I don't draw in my journal or leave a lot of ink on the page. I think some of the popular pens for bujo must leave a lot more ink on the page if they're bleeding through these pages. I love this journal, and I will buy another one just like it for 2019.

Love this journal
Fits perfectly in my purse with out being so small that it's hard to write. Good quality and doesn't tear up easily. If you are looking for a travel journal its perfect with a strap that holds it shut. Looks like a regular planner also so not something that someone would immediately pick out as your journal.

Great for beginners
The price is amazing! I love that it comes with ribbons. Overall the journal is amazing. There is minimal ghosting with the Tombow fuedensosuke and Sakura Pigma Microns. There is some bleed through with the Zebra mildliners but it depends on how many layers you put on top of each other. The Staedler Triplus Fineliners do bleed through but it isn’t very obvious. In the end you do get what you pay for. I would definitely buy this again. If you want no ghsosting or bleed through then don’t get this journal.

Beginner's Bullet Journal
This journal is a great way to see if you will stick to using it. I have issues with bleeding and ghosting, but I figured for the price I will deal with it. It has been my daily all around carry and I love it. Feels great, lays flat and takes some abuse. I do not recommend the use of fountain pens in it.

I used this as a bullet journal.
Well, I used this a bullet journal I prepped for college. I used finetipped colored pens, crayola super tips, Prisma Color liners, and a BIC for Her pen. I read that some people had page bleeding while others did not. For $5, I figured “what could it hurt?”.
First, my pages bleed sometimes. It depends on how much ink I put on the paper. Hence why I bought my super tips. The ghosting can be bad at some points depending on what I drew and how much ink I use on the page. My BIC pen hardly bleeds... I can forgive it however.
The journal IS solid. The pages are nice and flat, they’ll sometimes sit flat, and are a pristine white. I adore that it also came with an index, I didnt have to make one. The pagss have a great feel to them and the journal is sleek (I bought black.) I think for a beginning bullet journalist’s first serious journal, I think its a decent journal.
Shipping was costly, journal is nice. Hope this helps somebody, as the reviews I read weren’t helpful on my decision.

Fantastic alternative to expensive journals
At 80gsm, the Artist Loft is comparable the most popular bullet journal picks. There is a little ghosting, but no more so than a journal that costs twice as much. My Stabilo pt 88 pens work great. The index and unnumbered pages make up for lack of a pocket (I just glued in an envelope). After 7 months of hard use--I am not gentle on journals--there's minimal cosmetic damage at the top of the spine. The ribbons haven't frayed and the elastic is in great condition. I'm about to move into a new journal and after checking out all the options (I have a lot more money in my pocket now), I'm going with Artist Loft again.

Great product for its price
For a 5 dollar notebook, it’s perfect for bullet journaling on a budget. The pages are thin but take ink surprisingly well, and I like how it has an index already in the first few pages. The dotted pages make it easy to make graphs and grids without distracting from other things you put on the page.

Nice starter journal!
Doesn't hold heavy duty materials well (ex: copics), but it's a wonderful bullet journal, especially for beginners who might want to test out the system first. It's very nice quality and I highly recommend it. :>
