Sizing not accurate without mat
I had two prints already matted to 8x8 I needed frames for so I bought two of these 5x5 frames as they were listed as being 8x8 if you took out the mat. However when I went to put my matted prints in the frame, they didn't fit as the frame is too small. I ended up having to cut the mats down to fit. I measured and the frame opening is 7 15/16 so it is just under 8x8. Misleading and very frustrating.

Excellent quality, great for gallery wall
I've been buying these frames since my oldest was born, framing newborn photos, adding new ones, replacing the family picture in the center with each addition to the family. I now have eight 4x6s, four 5x7s and the 8x10 for the family pose. They look great, especially with the wooden word "Family" that I picked up somewhere to throw off the symmetry.
Sometimes, yes, you get one with a flaw. And that's annoying. But it's a first world problem, not the end of society, and I just go and exchange it for another (or open the cardboard before buying them the first time.

Enhances photos
I purchased this frame for photos to give as Christmas gifts to family members. The matte enhances the overall presentation by adding dimension. A normal 4x6 photo seems to “pop” with the white matte against the black frame. Easy to disassemble and reassemble. It was on sale for Buy 1 Get 1 when I purchased, so I feel like I got a great deal!

Check it carefully before you buy
I have bought these a few times. You need to really look at the mats- some have obvious flaws like ragged or crooked edges. Almost all of them have subtle flaws with alignment and centering. Once the frame itself had a very jagged edge on its front corner, but I was in a situation where I didn't have time to exchange. You get what you pay for with these

Love that this comes with a double mat.
This is a great frame for my 5" x5" needlepoint. That is the size that most of the Dimensions needlepoint kits come in.

Nice frame
Nice product. I was hoping since the frame was marked a “wall frame” it wouldn’t have the stand attached. However the stand was easily removed.
