You're somewhat experienced with the skills necessary to complete this project, but you haven't mastered all the elements, yet.

Decorate your door with this fabric wreath during Black Heritage Month.

Print Project

Step 1

Paint wreath form with black paint. Let dry.

Step 2

Paint wooden plaque. Let dry. Once dry, apply another coat and let dry

Step 3

Cut both fabrics into 2” x 15" [5.1 cm x 38.1 cm] strips.
TIP: You will need about 84 total strips.

Step 4

Tie each the fabric strips, individually, around the painted wreath form until the wreath form is full. Use image as your guide.
TIP: For maximum fullness, push all knotted strips close together as you work around the form.

Step 5

Cut a piece of the twine and thread it through the plaque hanger on the back. Tie it to the fabric wreath to hang the plaque in the middle.
