Print Project

Step 1

Cut two strips of yellow cardstock to 1½" x 11" [3.81 cm x 27.94 cm] on the paper trimmer. Also, cut out a circle that is about 1" [2.54 cm] in diameter. This circle will be covered up, so it doesn't have to be perfect.
TIP: Two 1½" [3.81 cm] strips will make a 3" [7.62 cm] circle. Two 2" [5.08 cm] strips will make a 4" [10.16 cm] circle, etc.

Step 2

With the scoring blade, score horizontally along each strip at ½" [1.27 cm] increments.

Step 3

Use a tape runner to attach the two strips, end to end. Now, accordingly fold the long strip along the score lines.

Step 4

Adhere the ends together so you have one continuous circle.

Step 5

Stand the paper circle on one side so it looks like a tube. Now, carefully work your hands around the top and push in toward the centre. Gather the pleated circle and adjust the pleats so they are evenly spaced. While holding it in place with one hand, add some hot glue around the centre and place the 1" [2.54 cm] circle to the glue to hold the pleated circle together. Hold it until the glue cools and everything is secure.

Step 6

Punch out a green circle using the 2" [5.08 cm] circle punch. Glue it to the centre of the pleated circle.

Step 7

Add a sticker to the centre of the green circle. Add any other embellishments you would like with markers.

Step 8

Finally, cut two strips of blue cardstock 1½" x 6" [3.81 cm x 15.24 cm]. Cut a “V” in each end, then glue to opposite ends to the back of the award. Add details using the markers.
