Only soft for my baby
I stumbled upon this yarn one day while browsing the yarn aisles at Michaels. One can not have too much yarn can we? I was visiting my daughter in Indiana and asked her to take me to Michaels so I could get some yarn to start a project. So happy to see Bernat Softee baby yarn again. Soft, wonderful colors and great to work with.

Bernat Multicolor Yarn
I was very intrigued when I saw this combination of colors. So many skeins seem suited to only boys or only girls. This combination is an interesting compromise for both. The texture is perfect
for blankets which will be dragged around as toddlers begin walking. I am truly enjoying knitting
a fabulous blanket for any baby coming my way.

I wanted to make a lightweight shawl for my sister-in-law. I chose Bernat Softee Baby yarn as it was a vargated light blue, a little darker blue, gold and white. I was sure she would find the color combination just lovely and fun to wear. The yarn is acrylic but feels like cotton. It was an easy yarn to work with.

I love the self-striping; I made socks, but with a multi-year break between sock #1 and #2. I was delighted that even though it was not the same dye lot that there was no noticeable difference between skeins. It's a soft but very durable yarn and oh! so warm and cuddly on the feet. It washes up fine as well; very, very happy that I chose this yarn for my sock project!
