Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make sure the baby velvet is the right size I love bernat baby velvet yarn! It is so soft, and I love that is it washable. I did actually buy the baby velvet by mistake though. I was working on a project with regular bernat velvet yarn and purchased the baby velvet when I ran out which didn't work out because the baby velvet is a different size than the regular velvet.

Very concerned about how easily it can be pulled off the center string. I'd worry about putting it in the washing machine, even on delicate. Will hand wash the snuggle blankets I'm in the process of making. Slight odour that will hopefully soak/wash out. Won't buy it again.
