With A, work 16 rows.
Work from ** to ** once more.
With A, work 4 rows.
These 116 rows form Stripe Pat.
With MC, cast on 80 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Row 1: (RS). Knit.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3: K4. *(K2tog) 4 times. (yo. K1) 8 times. (K2tog) 4 times. Rep from * to last 4 sts. K4.
Row 4: Knit.
These 4 rows form Garter Ripple Pat.
Cont in Garter Ripple Pat, keeping cont of Stripe Pat, until all 116 rows are complete.
With A, knit 1 row. Cast off knitwise. Use tapestry needle to weave in your ends.
