Try this trendy beaded vase DIY from Rebekah D and achieve the imperfect look of ceramic using acrylic paint on wooden beads.

Print Project

Step 1

Starting at the top of the glass bowl, glue the smaller wood beads all the way around. Work your way to the bottom creating horizontal rows with the beads. Use larger wood beads for the bottom rows.
TIP: Make sure to have the holes facing the sides and not to the front.

Step 2

Paint the beaded bowl white with acrylic paint. Let dry. Add additional layers of paint as needed to cover the surface of the beads.
TIP: Brush strokes do not need to be perfect and can have a more messy look to resemble ceramic.

Step 3

Cut floral foam to fit the inside, bottom of the beaded bowl; then place inside.
TIP: Hot glue your floral foam to the bottom of the vase to secure.

Step 4

Cut stems in various sizes from your floral bushes and push into floral foam inside the glass bowl to create a full look.
