Great until it broke
I really loved this tool and it was incredibly helpful in my crafting but one side of the nipper tool did break and I had to replace the tool after only 3-4 months of moderate use.

Broke on first use
I’ve been making jewelry for 10 years and use this type of tool to remove backs (button shanks, clip on earring, etc) from vintage jewelry in order to repurpose it. The tip of this seemed to be made out of a different metal than I’m used to and broke off (and flew across the room) the very first time I used it. I’ll buy a different brand next time.

A possible defect with this batch.
This is the third pair I have purchased of this brand, and all 3 times, they broke in the exact same place the first time I used them. I was snipping 18 gauge dead soft when the 3rd pair broke. I used the same pair of a different brand for 4 years and never had an issue.

Great nippers initially, then the tip broke off. Very frustrating that Michaels store is quick to pass you off to head office when looking for a solution to this issue. Or tells you to contact the manufacturer directly.... When asked if they have a number or address to do that, their response was "you will have to Google it". Not as supportive as I would have liked
