Probably works
Unfortunately, it was returned back to the store. Did not work for my project.

Works Great!
I bought this punch after I previously purchased a cheaper one and it broke. So far this one has worked great! It's very effective for putting holes in metal blanks for jewelry making.

Didn't work
Thanks for reminding me to try out this tool. I tried it on some thin copper pendants I had made and I was able with great effort to make the smaller hole, but the larger hole size wouldn't cut through. Even my husband couldn't turn it tight enough to cut through the metal. I'm going to return it tomorrow.

It works well once you get used to it
At first, I was getting a rough edge in the tin I was punching. I figured out that I could make the best hole cuts if I paid attention to the feel as I turned the horizontal shaft(s). When the metal has been cut through you can feel it even though there isn’t an audible pop sound. I would find it helps to clean out the hole space in the punch with a piece of wire if the circle of metal from previous use is stuck. I think this hole punch is probably better suited to metal that is thicker. I am probably going to get a plier type hole puncher instead, but this screw type cutter is solidly built.

This product broke the first time I used it!
The tip of one side of this steel hole punch broke the first time I tried to punch a hole in an aluminum bracelet
