So bad now. What happened?
I used to love this wire for weaving and creating cool intricate designs and my jewelry but ever since the packaging has changed from the original Green to this new white gray Packaging the wire is totally completely different the gold wire for example flakes off chunks of clear yellow pieces of film exposing a silver wire underneath which never used to happen before. as I'm spending all this time weaving my design I noticed that it's completely has this like plastic film coating over it and isn't actually a solid wire. In the green Packaging I liked how the silver colored wire would wear overtime exposing a beautiful copper underneath but now it's just completely flaking off without being worn at all just as your weaving it. Please fix this because it totally sucks now and I can't use this at all. I'm so disappointed in this brand I used to love their stuff

It would have great if it was the right thickness.
I ordered 28 gauge, but what is packaged is 24 gauge. Too thick. And 28 gauge copper is unavailable, which is what I need. However, Michaels was very nice and refunded my money! BTW Michaels has much better crafts than JoAnn

Affordable but brittle
Decent for the price and selection but it breaks easily. I have to redo eye loops often because they break just wrapping the wire around itself. Good for backup in case you run out.

Way more wire in here than I realized. That is definitely not a bad thing tho! This is the first wire I've ever used so I have nothing to compare to, but I like it. It's easy to use.

a bit thin for some beading needs
I can't find 22 guage wire at michaels for the life of me so this will not work for heavier beads or ends, but for attaching smaller beads with wraps it works fine.
