Broke first day
As I was taking them out out of the package the LED light fell off of it. I wasn’t going to use the light anyway so it was no big deal. Within a month the rubber adjustment band broke and now they are worthless to me. In the month that I used them they were light and very clear optics. To bad the rest of it is cheaply made.

This product has great features
I can now enjoy making my crochet products with small crochet hooks and yarn. I don't feel any heaviness with this on my head. I love the way you can adjust the light and I don't need my own glasses on while using this. I am very happy I purchased this item.

Very inadequate- lenses horrible
Definitely not a quality tool. The lenses are such cheap acrylic you can’t see through them. I returned it for one that was similar price that hangs around my neck. Much better quality acrylic lense. Don’t waste your money.

Perfect for my needs
I've been wanting something like this for awhile for making jewelry. I finally saw this at Michaels and I asked a clerk if she heard any complaints about it. She said "People either love it or hate it." Knowing I could return it if I hated it, I bought it and I am so impressed. It has 3 different strengths of magnification which are very easy to switch out when you do it right. (I fumbled at first trying to do it upside down.) and the glass really is crystal clear. The visor works well and can be adjusted. I feel it fits my head just right. Not too tight and not too loose.There is a separate clear rubber piece that I didn't know what to do with until I realized it attached to the back of the headgear to keep it in place. My head doesn't need that but without it the back of end of the headpiece gets stuck in my hair. I went online to another sight to find reviews after I bought it and they were terrible. I don't know if they changed it to cut corners but I'd recommend getting it at Michaels so you can easily return it if it doesn't work for you.

Great for detail work
Positives were decent quality for the price, an open design, a mini light, and being able to wear them along with my prescription glasses. Biggest con was the plastic build quality & that it was a bit tight & uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. I wound up removing the head band part and gently heated it until I could stretch it apart a bit to make it more comfortable.

I can thread a needle!
The magnification on this is amazing! However, I only give this 4 stars because the led light is not that great. I have an ott light anyways, so that’s not a huge deal.

Improvement to my eyes
These help me when I need them. I like that I can keep my glasses on and just flip down the magnifiers. Useful when threading my sewing machine. The little light is useful too.

Excellent for the small work.
Got a great deal with a Michaels coupon. Was very surprised by the good quality. I use these a lot. Very comfortable. Cuts my time and improves quality on wire wrapping and soldering.

It's great that you can wear it & it adjusts.
I was able to complete my project with such ease. You can change the degree of magnification as you need, then no hands needed. I finished my projects much faster. I could not be happier with this purchase.

AWESOME PRODUCT....
Every jeweler should have this...frees up both hands so that you can do what you need to do & see what your doing...the light works fantastic...thanks Michaels for saving my hands from cuts because of fumbling...would highly recommend & if you wear glasses you can still wear them--comes with 3 different lenses & batteries.
