I love the size of these rocks for rock painting - actually have nice sized flat surface to paint on. I originally liked the coating on the rock, it smoothes out any bumps. That’s a bonus - I don’t have to prep the rock with spackle and sand to make it smooth. Unfortunately, I basecoated with chalk paint and it did not stick to the rock. Acrylic paint does not stick either. Hm. Trying spray paint this morning. Hoping that will stick and I can paint with acrylics overtop.

Nice rocks with polish. Can’t paint them though
We bought some rocks to paint. Unfortunately the rocks have a glossy finish which makes it hard. Still good looking river rocks
