Good for the price
This works fine as a primer for canvas and kther surfaces but it is on the cheaper side and can peel if you're not careful. I experienced this especially when sanding between layers.

Good medium consistency gesso, good price
I like the tooth/feel of this gesso. It’s easy to brush on and sand. I apply multiple layers, sanding in between. It is between a thick, the kind you can create soft peaks with, and thin, milk like, gesso. It feels a bit like
a yogurt (not Greek). Good price. I would buy this again.
