The Artist's Loft Firenze Brushes are a good substitute for the more expensive brands. I was looking for a firm synthetic bristle for heavy bodied acrylic. I wasn't disappointed.

Love these long lasting brushes!!
These brushes are great quality and hold their edge for a LONG time if cleaned after each use. The handles are the perfect weight and being a solid material, you don’t have any chipping of paint off the handle like with other brands. I have several of these (some I’ve had for years) and they are very nice brushes and haven’t lost any fibers from the brush end at all.

Great for undercoat
In working with acrylics I always do an undercoat on top of the gesso coat. This brush is excellent to hold paint and spread paint and I purchased this size for large areas. I have purchased this brush in three sizes (6, 8, & 12) . I'm sure they would be good for other purposes as well but being a new acrylic painter I'm a little slow in experimenting with what all the brushes do best. I would recommend these brushes as described.

Amazing Brush
I was surprised by this brush. It is absolutely fantastic. I had been looking for a certain brush that was recommended to me and they didn't have one so I went with this brush. The filaments are extremely firm which is great for heavy body acrylics, it holds its shape beautifully, and doesnt hold water which is also wonderful. It's a steal for the price. I am definitely going to get more of these soon to round out my collection.
