With a generous 1.5" profile, these small back-stapled canvases have all the benefits of traditional canvases in a more decorative size. Each canvas features 100% cotton canvas primed with a titanium acrylic gesso primer that's acid free and archival quality, and the medium tooth surface is ideal for acrylic and oil paints. They're perfect for a creative series, dimensional projects or polyptych paintings.

These canvases are the perfect size for allowing enough space to render a cohesive, individual subject in a single composition, and small enough to bring many of them together to create a diptych, a triptych, or a multi-paneled work with a unifying theme. I have used them for a series of florals, and I plan to get more of them for other series. Organizing them in a row could accentuate the wall space above or below a shelf, while placing them in a square arrangement can make for an engaging focal point on any wall with high traffic (family room, hallway, etc.). They would also make excellent décor for a bathroom, placed throughout the room, as their unimposing size could add an element of color or a stroke of dramatic appeal in small spaces without cluttering the walls' design scheme. These canvases worked perfevtly for the project I had in mind and even inspired other projects for me as well.
