Dyed stones?
I've bought a few strands. For this price, I am not expecting high-quality aquamarines, but I wish they had not been dyed, as they look less authentic. I'm hoping they ARE aquamarines (beryls), and not dyed quartz or glass. These pale blue stones have been dyed. The dye settles in the holes and cracks. Unfortunately, it looks like someone took a bright blue felt tip pen and marked up the stones. I swabbed some of the stones with nail polish remover and blue dye came off on the cotton ball. I still buy them but I would happily pay more for better quality.
