Disappointed
I just purchased the tree today and once when I got home I put in 3 double A batteries. It’s a beautiful tree but a few moments later I smelled something burning. Turned out the smell was coming from the tree! I am so disappointed! I really wanted to love this tree but I am not risking it. I will be returning.

Poor quality
The wiring in the branches of this thing is so fragile as to be unusable. The lights worked fairly well out of the box, then stopped working as soon as I'd spread the branches and glued my decorations to it, making it impossible for me to exchange. Has a plug in the base for an AC power source, but no included cord. :(
If you get this I recommend you spread the branches then test the lighting thoroughly so you can still return if necessary before gluing anything to it.

Cute Tree
I wanted a tree that I could decorate for all seasons, and this tree is perfect, just what I wanted. It’s a nice size, and I love the LED lights with optional 4-hour timer. I did have to return the first one I purchased at the store, as it had some finishing defects. I think it may have been a previous return. The second one is great, though. I recommend opening one at the store if possible to check it out for quality. I wish I had done this the first time. It would have saved me time, gas, and grief. Overall, I definitely recommend this cute tree. It looks adorable decorated.
