Garbage
I was leary about purchasing these as they did not look true to size. I got them home and checked them in my gauge checker. The "E" is the correct size; HOWEVER, the head fits in the 3.75 mm hole. The "C" is marked as a 2.75 mm but is a 3 mm, AND the head of it is large enough that it also fits in the 3.75 mm hole. I will be returning these.

Bends at the slightest pull
I bought a size B hook in store for a project, but as soon as I started using it, I could feel the hook bending as I pulled the yarn. After a short while I held it in both hands and flexed it a little to see if it was actually bending or just my imagination. I was surprised when I easily bent it in half!
Completely not worth the money. Buy a steel hook that will actually hold up to use.

Frustrating piece of garbage
This is a cheap hook that I would not even recommend for beginners because using it would probably frustrate them and make them think crocheting is harder than it actually is. For one, it is a Boye style hook, which I can't understand why is still a popular style. It splits threads even in high quality yarn and drops loops frustratingly often due to the almost nonexistent groove. Save yourself the frustration and go with a Bates style hook.
Despite detesting this style of hook, it was all Michael's had in the individual packs, so I picked up a size B to get started on an amigurumi project while I waited for my Susan Bates hooks to arrive from Amazon. Size B is quite small, and this one has zero grip to it, so I found myself running back out to pick up a grip to slide on it, which helped me hold it better. However, as I worked, I noticed the shaft kept bending, mostly at the flat part where the size is written, but also a couple times at other points on the shaft.
I wish I had just gone the extra 10 miles to Hobby Lobby and gotten a better quality hook. This one is garbage and will be going in the trash as soon as I get a replacement for it. Michael's really ought to stock a wider variety of hooks instead of pushing their own Loops and Threads brand.

Great Crochet Hook - Great Price
You can spend a whole lot on crochet hooks, but I prefer the plain metal type. This brand is very nice as it has a grainy texture and so your work does not slide off too easily. Have no problems pulling the yarn through even some yarns that sort of un-twist as one crochets.

Best purchase ever
I was working on a project that called for a Size 7 crochet hook, which I did not have. Ran over to Michaels and picked up this gem for $1 with coupon. Best hook ever. I'm partial to Susan Bates, but my set did not include the 4.5mm hook. The tip of this hook is sharp enough to slide into small stitches, but does not shred yarn. The hook is large enough to hold yarn to pull back through easily. Tossing my Clover hooks. They are too rounded at tips and hook does not hold yarn to pull through loops for me.
