I almost bought another popular brand at a much higher price point at a big hardware store but a salesperson never showed up to help me. So I stumbled on this DecoArt satin enamel paint classic black at Michael’s. I did clean the chair but forgot to sand as I just wanted to paint it already. This paint covered so beautifully in 2 coats, left a beautiful finish with no brush marks, virtually no odor, easy clean up with water AND doesn’t require sealing! I still have half of the 8oz container left for another project. My chair came out better than I ever expected it would. Really happy with this product and would definitely use it again.

The finish is perfect for furniture, and the coverage is great! Even the cleanup was effortless - just soap and water. I'm so glad I decided to go with this brand. 10/10 would recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but not worth the money Note that this paint leaves bubbles when applied, which will fade as it dries. I used 2 coats over white and I can still see some areas that need touched up. However, the paint already feels thick and still a bit tacky after 48 hours so I don’t want to apply more. I’m not loving this paint, I think there are better options for less $.

I tried returning it but the only other green jar had been opened and wasn't full. Same thing with a couple other lternative colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quite possibly the worst paint ever I bought the white Deco Art Satin Enamel for some cabinet doors, and it’s quite possibly the worst paint I’ve ever used. Imagine painting a cabinet using white watercolor paint because that’s what I’d equate this stuff to. I’ve also used the green and that was fine, however, I’m in my fifth coat of white and there’s no end in sight.
