It’s not that great
Many many coats over a brass chandelier and it still looks like it painted it gray. Its not bright, nor metallic looking. Extremely disappointed. I put alot of time into painting this light and it ended up looking like a cheap spray painted gray fixture. Now ill have to invest time and money into buying silver leaf paper and starting all over!

Perfect to me!
I was not sure how this paint would work out on my bronze outdoor sconces but as you can see by the before and after photos, it turned out great. I had 4 of them to paint. They were all heavily tarnished and brasso
did not work on all the areas so I decided to give use 24k Gold and I love the color. Also, I did not use a primer and only used 2-3 coats at most. I also painted to smaller lights, one I used 24K gold and the other one I used the classic gold.

Love the New Bright Metallic Colors
I use the paints for paint pouring and they work beautifully. My initial order was dark blue, antique bronze and pearl. Love the fact that each jar is 8 fl oz. The paints mix well with Floetrol, with each other and other brands such as Liquitex and Masters Touch. Thanks DecoArt for a great product.

New Jar of Bronze was Curdled
Just about ready to mix my paints for a pour and opened a brand new jar of DecoArt Americano DECOR Bronze Metallic and it was worse than large curd cottage cheese. Of course I’d tossed the receipt! Totally unusable.
Michaels, you need to do a LOT better with your inventory in store for me to continue shopping at our local box store here in Sacramento. Nothing is organized and most of the time what I’m looking for is gone or misplaced. I’d rather pay more elsewhere.
