First, remove ten 5-link sections from the chain. Set aside. |
Step 2 |
Make bead links with one, two or even five beads. To do this, slide a bead onto an eye pin. Bend the wire of the eye pin in a 90° angle just above the bead. Grasp the eye pin wire, about 3/8"-½" [0.3 cm-1.3 cm] from the bend, between the jaws of your round nose pliers. Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire, until a small loop is formed. Trim excess wire. |

Layout your bead links with chain sections to design your look, then carefully open the loops on the bead links to attach the chain sections to make one long strand (of chain and bead links). |

Attach a clasp to each end of the long strand with jump rings. |
