amazing glitter striped card
| Step 1 |
Use a blank card to create your background paper and to add your greeting. Cut the card down to 3½" x 5" [8.89 cm x 12.7 cm]. Save the rest of the that card for stamping. |
| Step 2 |
On the 3½" x 5" [8.89 cm x 12.7 cm] piece, paint a line of Mod Podge® with the ½" [1.27 cm] paintbrush down the centre. Repeat for another line on either side of the first, spaced out so that you can add a smaller line in between later. Add Bubblegum glitter and tap off the excess, then let dry. |
| Step 3 |
Paint lines in between and outside the Bubblegum ones with Mod Podge® using a thinner brush. Add Gold glitter and tap off. Set aside to dry. |
| Step 4 |
On the remaining scrap card, stamp your greeting. Attach the clear stamp to an acrylic block, then ink your stamp with Jet Black StazOn® ink. Press down firmly onto the cardstock and pull straight up for a clean image. |
| Step 5 |
Cut a rectangle shape around the stamped image as shown. |
| Step 6 |
Adhere the rectangle shape (with stamped greeting) onto Gold cardstock, then trim around it leaving about 1/8" [0.3 cm] border all the way around the image. |
| Step 7 |
Adhere the glitter-striped background to the front, centre of a blank card. |
| Step 8 |
Centre the greeting on the card and adhere it using foam adhesive circles. |
