AMACO® Artists' Modeling Clay is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from This clay is junk! No matter what you do it cracks and falls apart. I even wrote to company and it’s all my fault. If it drys to fast it will crack if it gets to wet it will crack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Clay Overall Pretty good clay overall. Great for classroom use. We made pinch pots and it was great! Not good for fine or thin things like arms, it breaks too easily. And does NOT dry white. It dries light gray. Not important if painting. But I will use again for my classes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not meet my needs. Overall the clay is good, when making large or ticker sculptures. It does not work so well with tinnier objects like Angel Wings, it breaks really easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like Art Class! Perfect for making anything and no firing necessary. Dries with in 24 hours and can be painted. Wonderful product! I recommend this for children like mine ages 6, and 8.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great clay Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. However, clay is light brownish gray not white.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Experience!! The Red version of this clay has got to be one of the worst clays I've every worked with. It wrinkled the skin on my hands to the point where it made it ultra sensitive and could not work with it any further because it hurt badly. I called Amaco and they told me that this clay is rich in Iron, hence the red color, which could be attributing to my experience with it, but that could be just me.
