Wish it was a little stronger but for the price I paid, it is a good deal. Had to use a little more than I wanted to in order for my project to stick but it worked out.

Magnetic tape
This was perfect for a project I made for one of my students. I made a strip with the alphabet on it and then individual alphabet letters. I placed cut pieces of the magnetic tape to the letters so he can learn to match the letters up.

Aleenes magnetic tacky tape was pretty easy to use but did have to hot glue to ensure it stuck and wish it was more powerful magnetic-wise but using it for clothespin magnets worked fine

Think about the project your working on
I bought this item so my granddaughters could make Christmas magnets. Worked great for our projects however I wish I would have bought flat magnets and this one was hard for my youngest granddaughter as it kept rolling up on her.

Not much magnetic strength
Got this to make my own plein aire platform for watercolor. However, whatever I attached it to, just simply did not stay in place. For example, placed one strip on foam 12"x12" platform, and then one strip at the bottom of a small 1-oz water jar; moved by 5 degrees and the water fell. Also tried to place it at the bottom of a lightweight (3 oz) palette, and it fell as well. Very disappointing!
