Step 1 |
Measure and cut 72" [182.88 cm] of clear transite cord. Attach to a metal connector with a lark’s head knot. The two ends hanging from the connector should be even in length. |

Measure and cut 6-7 yards [548.64 cm - 640.08 cm] of bamboo cord. Attach to the metal connector with a lark’s head knot over the transite knot. The two ends hanging from the connector should be even in length. |
Step 3 |
Determine stone and bead order, or pattern, you like then thread onto the transite. |
Step 4 |
Tie a square knot in the bamboo cord against the lark’s head knot on the metal connector. To make a square knot: |
Step 5 |
Move the first bead up against the square knot and make another square knot below the bead with the bamboo cord. |
Step 6 |
Move the next bead up against the square knot and make another square knot below the bead with the bamboo cord. Repeat until your beaded strand is about 45" long but do not make a square not below the last bead yet. Set aside. |
Step 7 |
Make five bead links with small glass beads and link them together. To make bead links: |
Step 8 |
Tie one end of the linked beads onto your beaded strand with the excess transite. Tie several knots so it is secure. Add a dab of glue. |
Step 9 |
Tie the last square knot of the transite knot and top of the linked beads. Cut the cord close and add a generous amount of glue. Let dry. |
Step 10 |
Attach the druzy agate charm the end of the linked beads with the jump ring. |
