Measure and cut 72" [182.88 cm] of clear transite cord. Attach to a metal connector with a lark’s head knot. The two ends hanging from the connector should be even in length.
TIP: To make a lark’s head knot, fold the cord in half. Place the metal connector over the fold. Grab the ends of the cord, bring them up and over the metal connector, then through the fold of the cord. Pull and tighten the knot.

Measure and cut 6-7 yards [548.64 cm - 640.08 cm] of bamboo cord. Attach to the metal connector with a lark’s head knot over the transite knot. The two ends hanging from the connector should be even in length.
TIP: Arrange the ends of the transite so they are between the two bamboo cords hanging from the metal connector.

Determine stone and bead order, or pattern, you like then thread onto the transite.
TIP: Clip a mini bead bug to the end of the cord to old the beads onto the cord and to keep it from curling up while you work.

Tie a square knot in the bamboo cord against the lark’s head knot on the metal connector. To make a square knot:
- Cross the right cord over the transite in the centre to make the shape of a “4”.
- Now, move the left cord over the right cord, under the transite and through the opening of the “4” on the right.
- Grab ahold of both the right and left cords gently pull so the knot works its way up to the top. Hold onto the transite as you work the knot up.
- For the second half of the knot, cross the cord that is now on the left transite strands to make the shape of a backward “4”.
- Now, move the right cord over the left cord, under the transite and through the opening of the “4” on the left.
- Grab ahold of both the right and left cords gently pull so the knot works its way up to the top. Hold onto the transite as you work the knot up.

Move the first bead up against the square knot and make another square knot below the bead with the bamboo cord.

Move the next bead up against the square knot and make another square knot below the bead with the bamboo cord. Repeat until your beaded strand is about 45" long but do not make a square not below the last bead yet. Set aside.
TIP: If you used a mini bead bug, you can remove.

Make five bead links with small glass beads and link them together. To make bead links:
- Slide a bead onto an eye pin.
- Bend the wire of the eye pin in a 90° angle just above the bead.
- Grasp the eye pin wire, about ½" - 3/8" [1.27 cm - 1.54 cm] from the bend, between the jaws of your round nose pliers.
- Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire, until a small loop is formed.
- Before you close the loop, link with previously make bead link.

Tie one end of the linked beads onto your beaded strand with the excess transite. Tie several knots so it is secure. Add a dab of glue.

Tie the last square knot of the transite knot and top of the linked beads. Cut the cord close and add a generous amount of glue. Let dry.

Attach the druzy agate charm the end of the linked beads with the jump ring.
TIP: To open and close a jump ring, simply grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers and twist the ring open, from side-to-side. Never pull the jump ring which can cause distortion.
