Step 1 |
Research and choose which famous inventor(s) you'd like to honour. |
Step 2 |
Paint each canvas board solid using the acrylic paint. Set aside to dry while you are creating your inventor. |
Step 3 |
To make clothes, lay a foam shape person onto a piece of paper and trace it the shape. Now, draw the clothes onto your pattern that most closely looks like what the inventor would wear from his or her time period. Cut out the patterns, then trace them onto the felt and cut out. Glue the clothes onto the foam shape. Let dry. |
Step 4 |
Cut out felt for hair (or draw hair onto your inventor with markers). Glue into place. |
Step 5 |
Glue small eyes onto each inventor's face. Set aside to let the glue dry. |
Step 6 |
Using construction paper and markers, draw and cut out the item that represents what the inventor invented. Assemble it and glue it to the canvas board. |
Step 7 |
Identify each inventor by making a name plate from construction paper and glue it in place. |
Step 8 |
Finally, glue each inventor to their canvas board. |
