Step 1 |
Cut three squares (or rectangles) of recycled cardboard. Cut slits into them. |
Step 2 |
Paint the cardboard with a thin coat of paint. Let dry. |
Step 3 |
Cut out construction paper shapes. |
Step 4 |
Push the painted cardboard pieces together at the slits to make a 3D structure. |
Step 5 |
Glue the construction paper pieces to the cardboard. |
Step 6 |
Add pom-poms and wiggle eyes with glue. Let dry. |
Step 7 |
Finish the art by bending chenille pipe cleaners to make hair and hands. Push the ends of the chenille pipe cleaners into the ribs of the cardboard and add a drop of glue to hold it in place. Let dry. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
