3d paper chrysanthemum

Take you paper flower project to the next level. This project scores and cuts cardstock to create a dimensional chrysanthemum flower.

Print Project

Step 1

Click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™.
TIP: To alter the project, select customise, then use the edit panel to make changes.

Step 2

Follow the prompts in Design Space™ to cut the images from the cardstock.

Step 3

Use the scraper tool to gently curl all of the petal pieces. Roll the middle petal piece more tightly.

Step 4

Glue each layer of petals to the next, staggering slightly.

Step 5

Gently curl the green base piece.

Step 6

Create a loop as a base with the floral wire and thread through the hole in the green base piece. Use hot glue to secure.

Step 7

Glue the floral wire to the skewer for stability and wrap halfway down the skewer with floral tape.

Step 8

Attach the assembled flower layers to the green base piece with hot glue. Glue 6" [15 cm] lengths of floral wire to the backs of the leaves.

Step 9

Wrap the base of the leaves and the floral wire with floral tape; then attach to the skewer with glue and floral tape.
