A sturdy lantern for both indoor or outdoor use
Surprisingly well constructed, with a sealed bottom floor, preventing melted wax from escaping and pooling underneath. That being said, do use cation, as wax may still escape from the frame of the lantern door if too much accumulates. So, follow the recommendation of using a 3 inch candle, as not only will this limit the amount of wax pooling in the lantern, but the ~6 inches of distance between the tip of the flame and the handle of the lantern will prevent the handle from becoming too hot, allowing the lantern to be handled (wisely) or mounted indoors.

Black metal lantern
This lanterns are always damaged when I try to purchase them. They are either crooked and don’t stand without leaning or the glass is cracked or badly scratched.

Can be better
I like the size of these lanterns but it is always hard to find one that is in good shape. The glass is always scratched up, cracked or chipped. Michael’s needs to find a better way of keeping the lanterns protected on the shelves.

Lantern
Purchased this as a Christmas present. Used my cricut machine to make designs for the glass and some pine Garland for the top. It turned out great.
