Plastic is cumbersome...and they broke.
I wanted to love these. I was excited to have these little needles for sweater sleeves and socks! However, I wish I never bought them.
1) They’re plastic. Most knitters I know HATE plastic needles, but I wanted to give these a chance. They are so cumbersome to knit with. The yarn doesn’t even budge so I have to stop what I’m doing every 10-15 seconds to shove the yarn closer to the tip. Sounds dramatic, but it kinda takes the joy out of knitting and using these were just a means to an end, until...
2) THEY BROKE. I was on my tenth row and the tip snapped off the cord!
Hey PONY/Loops & Threads, make these metal or even bamboo so they are smoother to knit with. Strengthen the cord/tip join. Then they’ll be 5 stars!

Perfect for tiny projects
These needles are great. I use them for small projects like toys and balls for my chihuahua. The needles are plastic and slightly flexible, yet durable and withstand tight yarn. Surprisingly, the flexibility helps getting into stitches that are tight or twisted. I use the short end to hold stitches on the left, and the longer end to do the knitting on the right. This helps when knitting small things in the round and when using the magic loop method. Great addition to my needle collection!
