Materials

  • Candle, 7.6cm x 15.2cm (3" x 6") - White
  • Tissue Paper - White
  • Recollections™ Rubber Stamp, Large - Music Note
  • Recollections™ Dye Ink Pad - Black
  • Mod Podge® - Matte
  • Creatology™ Glitter - Crystal Clear
  • Celebrate It® Satin Ribbon - Black
  • Bead Landing™ Pendant - Petals, Grey Pearl
  • Heat Tool
  • Foam Brush

Instructions

Step 1
Measure a strip of tissue paper that fits around the candle and trim.

Step 2
Stamp the music note all over the tissue paper using black dye ink.

Step 3
Wrap tissue around the candle and heat with the heat tool until you see it adhere to the wax.

Step 4
Brush the candle with Mod podge® and roll it into the glitter to "sugar" coat it.

Step 5
Wrap ribbon around candle and add pendant.

Generic Stamping On Candle

Step 1
Stamp onto a piece of white tissue paper.

Step 2
Cut out stamped image or cut to wrap around pillar.

Step 3
Lay stamped image on candle where desired. Begin to slowly adhere it with a heat gun. Continue to add the images and space them as desired.

Step 4
Once cool, paint on Sparkle Mod Podge® and sprinkle with the Recollection™ Glitter. Let dry.

Step 5
Add a bow.

Tips

Make sure not to hold the heat tool in one place too long so that you don't over-melt the wax.
