  • Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice® Yarn – Cranberry - A (2 Balls), Taupe – B (2 balls), Colonial Blue - C (2 Balls) and Purple - D (2 Balls) or Colours of Choice
  • Crochet Hook Size N/13 (9mm)
  • Large-eyed Blunt Needle

About 39" x 39" (99 x 99cm)

Gauge
3 V-sts = 4" (10cm), worked with 2 strands held tog.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

Notes

1. Throw is worked with 2 strands held tog.

2. To change colour, work last st of old colour to last yarn over. Yarn over with new colour and draw through all loops to complete st. Fasten off old colour.

Instructions

With 2 strands of A held tog, ch 91.

Row 1: Dc in 5th ch from hook, ch 1, dc in same ch (beg V-st made), *sk next 2 ch, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch (V-st made); rep from* across to last 2 ch, sk next ch, dc in last ch – 29 V-sts and 1 dc on each end.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, (dc, ch 1, dc) in ch-1 st of each V-st across, dc in top of turning ch.

Rows 3-10: Rep Row 2.

Change to B.

Rows 11-20: With 2 strands of B held tog, rep Row 2.

Change to C.

Rows 21-30: With 2 strands of C held tog, rep Row 2.

Change to D.

Rows 31-40: With 2 strands of D held tog, rep Row 2.

Fasten off.

Finishing

Weave in ends.
